At a historical moment of much social inequality in the United States and continuing hunger problems, how are our neighbors in Worcester faring in terms of food security? What institutional approaches best aid the community? This panel discussion brings to campus three practitioners with long histories of helping the Worcester area address questions of persistent poverty and food insecurity. Panel representatives inlcude Laura Gal, J.D., Staff Attorney at Community Legal Aid, Inc; Jean McMurray, Director of Worcester County Food Bank; and Carla Szymanski, Director of Rachel's Table.
