Katya Gibel Mevorach, professor of anthropology and American studies at Grinnell College, will speak about anti-Semitism in the 21st century with a focus on intersectionality. Under the name Katya Gibel Azoulay, she authored "Black, Jewish and Interracial: It's Not the Color of Your Skin but the Race of Your Kin, and Other Myths of Identity" (Duke University Press, 1997). The talk is supported by the Kraft-Hiatt Fund for Jewish-Christian Understanding.
