Women in Science (WinS) Day celebrates the involvement of young female students in the sciences, empowering them to pursue an education in the sciences and a wide variety of possible professional pursuits.

Undergraduate women of the College and high school-aged girls from the Worcester area are invited to spend the day at our newly renovated and expanded Science Complex. Attendees will benefit from alumnae panels, inspiring speakers, and a STEM-specific browsing session. High school students will participate in interactive lab demonstrations and a tour of the campus, while Holy Cross students will explore internship and post-grad opportunities in the sciences.

Holy Cross WinS Day is a program presented by XCHROM, a student run organization founded in the fall of 2016. XCHROM is passionate about inspiring young women in science. Its mission is to help girls in the Worcester community gain confidence in STEM-related fields through mentorship.
