Terry Eagleton is a renowned British literary theorist, critic and public intellectual. He is currently Distinguished Professor of English Literature at Lancaster University. His latest books include: "Why Marx Was Right" (2011); "The Event of Literature" (2012); "How to Read Literature" (2013); and "Hope without Optimism" (2015).
This talk is the Thomas More Lecture on the Humanities.
