The 25th annual Leonard C. Sulski Memorial Lecture in Mathematics will be given by Professor Carl Pomerance of Dartmouth College at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018, in Room 154 of Smith Labs at the College of the Holy Cross. The title of the lecture is "What we still don't know about addition and multiplication."  The lecture series is a tribute to Professor Sulski, who taught in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Holy Cross from 1965 until his untimely death from leukemia in 1991. The lecture is free and open to the public.

The lecture will be followed by a dinner co-sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and the MAA at the Hogan Campus Center at Holy Cross.  For more information about the dinner contact Professor Thomas Cecil at (508)793-2719 or tcecil@holycross.edu before April 13.
