Drawing on thirty years of working with gang members in Los Angeles, Rev. Gregory Boyle, S.J., founder of Homeboy Industries, returns to Holy Cross to give a talk on "Be Fearless for Me: Courage and the Gospel of the Marginalized." Accompanied by “homies,” former gang members now part of his organization, Father Greg will share stories from his new book, “The Whole Language: The Power of Extravagant Tenderness” (Simon & Schuster, 2021), which shows how those at Homeboy Industries fight despair and remain generous, hopeful, and tender.
