The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
By Simon Stephens, based on the novel by Mark Haddon
Fifteen-year-old Christopher is prodigiously gifted at mathematics but at a loss when it comes to interpreting everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he can’t stand to be touched, and his senses are continually overloaded by the stimuli of the world around him. Simon Stephens’s poignant adaptation of the celebrated novel by Mark Haddon imagines the world as Christopher sees it when finding the corpse of his neighbor’s murdered dog leads him to play detective and takes him on a thrilling journey of discovery and self-discovery. Scott Malia directs.
