Peter Phan is the inaugural holder of the Ignacio Ellacuria Chair of Catholic Social Thought at Georgetown University. He is editor, with Elaine Padilla, of “Christianities in Migration: The Global Perspective,” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016). His talk is one of the Deitchman Family Lectures on Religion and Modernity.
